Contagious Generosity - His Nature

Christianity isn’t theoretical. When something is theoretical it means it is unproven. To prove Christianity isn’t theoretical look around at the power of Christianity. According to research there are 56 million in America and 2.16 billion around the globe worshipping God in church. Christianity is based on people giving their life to Christ. And once this occurs we get the honor to develop a relationship with the Son of God. With His leadership & guidance we are guided to His plans to prosper us, not harm us with hope and a future. John 3:16 NCV God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son so that whoever believes in him may not be lost, but have eternal life. A pastor preached a message on john 3:16. He then asked folks to share with others what it meant to them. At the end of service he greeted folks and many commented to him the importance of sharing the gospel to others. One little girl...said pastor...I want to love God and as much as He loves me. The overall message of John 3:16 salvation...yet the essence of the verse is God’s love. God’s relentless love. Relentless describes something that's persistent.When you're relentless about something you mean business. God will not stopping until He get what He wants, and will not taking no for an answer to bless those give his life Christ. Philippians 1:6 TLB And I am sure that God who began the good work within you will keep right on helping you grow in his grace until his task within you is finally finished on that day when Jesus Christ returns. It is in God’s nature to look after you. When a person receives God’s relentless love, they will experience His extraordinary unconditional love. He gently addresses wounds. He stirs hope and unleashes favor. He surrounds us with family. He coaches us with His Word. Mentors us to a new way thinking - Biblical thinking. Romans 12:2 NCV Do not be shaped by this world; instead be changed within by a new way of thinking. Then you will be able to decide what God wants for you; you will know what is good and pleasing to him and what is perfect. As we develop biblical thinking ...we discern what God wants for us and we live our lives to please Him. Our vocabulary begins to shift. Saved. Blessed. Love. Relentless Love. Forgiven. Favor. How can I love back someone who has loved me that much?The writer simply quoted this scripture from Matthew 10:8 Freely you received, freely give. In others words ...we can never give to Him what He gave us through His Son.However ...we can emulate God’s nature by emulating His giving nature. God gave His One and Only Son so others can have a better life. Happier life. Eternal Life. For it is in giving that we emulate God’s nature. What are we to give? Our Life. - Romans 10:9-11. Time - Ephesians 5:15-16. Gifts & Talents - 1 Peter 4:10. Tithes - Genesis 14:19-20 & Genesis 28:20-22. Offering - Exodus 35:4-6 We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.
