The Daniel Plan helps us begin 2014 concentrating in five areas Faith - Food - Fitness - Finances - Friends. We will be using the book of Daniel as our base. Two essential qualities we can extract from the book of Daniel. 1. God does not change. If He was faithful to Daniel ...He will be faithful to you. 2. People matter to God. You matter to God. Daniel was a young teenager who was carried to Babylon from Jerusalem against his will. Jerusalem was home. Daniel found himself is an unknown place cut off from safety & protection. Daniel was at a crisis point. The king ordered for all the wise to be put to death.

He reached out to his friends with a specific prayer request. Daniel 2:17-18. There is something to be learned from Daniel? When we pray, we need to be specific. Psalm 5:3. When prayers are specific, we're accomplishing three things... 1. Inviting God into our idea/plan/situation. 2. Requesting that He align our will with His. 3. Requesting His favor and success.
