Growing Your Business – Remember Your Reasons WHY

Today we are talking about Tip 2 to helping you keep your purpose in life in mind while growing your business, which is to Remember Why You Are Doing What You Are Currently Doing.

While it might seem like you are still tackling more ‘mundane’ activities than you would like, it is important to figure out WHY you are doing what you are doing. Why do you continue to work day after day? Why did you build your business to begin with? What were you attempting to accomplish? It can definitely be helpful to rediscover your original motivations, and then to focus on applying those motivations to your current situation.

It is never easy to go from building a business to recognizing great success. For one, building it gave you a reason to continue through difficult times. It gave you something to look forward to. Now that you are successful, you might find yourself frustrated by day-to-day operations that seem to sap your energy and creativity. You might even look around and regret putting so much effort into your venture, now that it sometimes feels like such a ‘normal’ job… but don’t fall into this frame of mind! Remember that you had a reason for building this business. You had a PURPOSE. The best thing that you can do is to re-discover that purpose, so that you can apply it to what you are doing now.
